HPmulticats is a hack designed for the famous HotProperty component for Joomla, that enables you to push back its capabilities to the unlimited flavour of a real product catalog:

• Multi-categories:
  Powerfull(nested sets model) and flawlessly integrated (both in front and backend), it will enable you to deal with multiple categories, as deeply-nested as you want, for an unlimited hierarchy!
  
• Contextual and inheritable attributes:
  Now you can associate extrafields to serevals categories. Consequently they will be contextual to the categories they belong but also to the ones they inherit from.
  
  
• Advanced search engine:
  has been improved too: it now takes count of the category you've selected to display the deeply related extrafields, thus allowing you to focus on concerned attributes.
  
• And more:
  
  • a new, and so now hierarchical, frontpage that recursively list categories and products.
